On newer Windows Operating Systems, such as Windows 10 and Windows 11, you may encounter the dreaded “Operating System Not Supported (Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, or Windows 7” error message while trying to install NetSpeedMonitor.
If you see the error above, do not worry. It just means that Windows needs to run the installer with special flags to allow the install. You can set these flags by following the tutorial below.
How to Fix NetSpeedMonitor Operating System Not Supported Error
Step 1
Right click the file “NetSpeedMonitor.org_2.5.4.0.msi“
Step 2
Click Properties
Step 3
Navigate to the Compatibility tab
Step 4
Select ‘“Run the program in compatibility mode for:”
Step 5
Press “OK” and we are all done!
Launch “NetSpeedMonitor_Install.msi‘“ again, and the installation should now begin!
